REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO CONSTRUCTION OF:

A NEW HOME, MANUFACTURED HOME, ACCESSORY BUILDING, POLE BARN, DECKS WITH OR WITHOUT ROOFS, ROOM ADDITION, FENCE, SWIMMING POOLS, SIGNS, SATELLITE DISH, AND SINGLE WIDES THAT REPLACE EXISTING SINGLE WIDES.

MUST HAVE A DRIVEWAY PERMIT BEFORE APPLYING FOR YOUR ZONING PERMITS. If township road-obtain from Monroe Township Maintenance Department, if county road-obtain from Clermont County Building Department, if state highway-obtain from ODOT.

Items required for ZONING PERMIT:

1.     Application from zoning office.
2.     Plat of property showing all boundaries of property (tax map office)
3.     Show all set backs from boundaries.
4.     Out side view of dwelling or room addition, etc..
5.     Copy of legal description (usually in form of a deed).
6.     Must have 1,350 square footage of living space.
7.     200 hundred foot at the building line.
8.     Copy of Driveway permit
9.     Parcel I. D. #
10.  Make sure to sign the second sheet of this application
11.  Permit fee for:_____________________is__________.

If you cannot meet existing set backs of the district you are located in, you can file an appeal to the Board of Zoning Appeals for a variance. The fee is $300.00
