The Monroe Township Zoning Inspector will be in the Monroe Township Meeting Hall Building Office located at 2828 St. Rt. 222 Bethel, Ohio 45106 on Tuesdays and Thursdays each week from 10:00am to 2:00pm.

You will need a permit to erect a fence, pole barn, new home or new additional, etc. Below are a list of steps that you need to take. Click the hi-lighted area to view it and then print it.
- You must obtain an application and checklist.
- Look at the fee schedule to obtain the amount that the zoning certificate will cost.
- Then the zoning department approves or denies the application, then you will need a permit for most construction from Clermont County Building Central. Click here for the Clermont County Building Department's check list.

The Monroe Township Board of Trustees is empowered, and required, to adhere to the Ohio Revised Code, Chapter 519 Zoning, for the management and enforcement of the Township's Zoning Resolution. There is no permit fee for yard sales at this time.Residents are allowed to participate in no more than 2 yard sales in any calendar year. Sales can only be held from May 1st through October 31st. Yard sales are limited to daylight hours of three consecutive days. All items that remain from the yard sale after the third day must be removed or stored in an enclosed area within 48 hours of said sale.
Two signs are permitted not to exceed 6 square feet to be displayed on the property where yard sale is being conducted. Signs must be removed at the close of the yard sale or by the end of daylight, whichever occurs first.
No sign or other form of advertisement shall be allowed for more than 7 days prior to day of sale.
